Digital archiving is meant to preserve digital documents and the content base for the purposes of the following criteria:
- Document preservation in its physical and intellectual aspects
- Document preservation for a long time period
- Document accessibility and comprehensiveness
NJSA deposits the articles that it publishes in multiple digital archives around the world with reliable host company to guarantee long-term digital preservation.
The NJSA makes data available in compliance with Open Archives Initiative protocols, by enabling automated ‘harvesting’ of our research articles for inclusion in any other digital archive. We promote non-exclusive digital archiving of research articles by as many international archives as possible, and available to ensure the security and permanent accessibility of research information.
