The Nigerian Journal of Sociology and Anthropology (NJSA) is published bi-annually by the Nigerian Anthropological and Sociological Practitioners Association, which is an umbrella body of anthropologists and sociologists in Nigeria. Two issues of the journal are published in June and November of each year in an attempt to illuminate core issues that benefit not only the academic community but also humanity at large.

The main focus is to publish dependable and timely information emanating from original research, reviews and new perspectives in sociology, anthropology and related fields. All articles are reviewed anonymously by at least two experts in the field, both as part of quality control and in line with global best practice. Researchers are encouraged to prepare their manuscripts in simple, lucid and reader-friendly manner.
